Already Certified? Renew Your South Dakota Food Manager Certification Online
If you are already a certified Food Protection Manager and your certification has not expired, you may qualify to renew your certification without taking another proctored exam.
TAP Series offers a South Dakota Department of Health-approved Food Manager Recertification Course that can be completed entirely online. Upon successful completion of the course, eligible participants will receive a new five-year certification, with no additional proctored examination required.
TAP Series' South Dakota Food Safety Renewal Training provides continuing education in sanitation and safety. This course is approved by the South Dakota Department of Health Certified Food Protection Manager Program for continuing education. South Dakota food service establishments are required to have at least one person on staff that has passed an 8-hour food service training and an ANAB certification exam or recertification with a 4 hour approved food service training.
Food managers whose current certification has not expired may complete the recertification course entirely online. No additional proctored examination is required.
