Course and examination take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete and, upon successful completion, provides a printable handler certificate and card. This card is good for three years.
The Florida Health Authority requires all food handlers to obtain knowledge about food safety and sanitation within thirty (30) days of employment. The Safe Food Handlers Florida Food Worker Training Program does just that. In just about 2 hours the food handler is trained and will receive a downloadable certificate and handler card.
