Professional Standards, Regulatory Requirements, Public Interest, Comparative Analysis, Ethical Judgment, Compliance Application
This Wyoming Board of CPAs–approved ethics course is designed to fulfill the state’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirement for active CPAs. All Wyoming CPAs must complete a four-hour ethics course every three years, with newly certified CPAs required to take it within six months of licensure.
The course provides in-depth instruction on Wyoming’s ethical rules, statutes, and professional conduct standards. It emphasizes the importance of ethical reasoning, regulatory compliance, and public service. Special attention is given to the principle of independence—reinforcing that CPAs must act in the public interest, free from personal or financial bias.
Whether or not you perform audit functions, this course will help you navigate ethical challenges in areas such as financial reporting, revenue recognition, and professional judgment. You’ll gain the tools and knowledge to uphold public trust, comply with Wyoming law, and maintain high ethical standards throughout your career.
