Food Friday – Let’s Roll!

You would never think of Mexican food and sushi going together, but El Sushi Loco in Los Angeles combines the two and is a big hit! The top selling roll is the carne asada roll. It starts out like any other sushi roll with seaweed, sticky rice, and avocado. Then the Mexican flavors kick in, adding some cheese, peppers, and finally topped with carne asada. As a finishing touch, it gets put in the oven and served nice and hot. Ay Caramba!

Would I try this? I don't know how I feel about the combination of seaweed and cheese, so I am not sure about this one! Maybe one day when I am feeling very adventurous, I will try it!
