Tech Thursday - A Machine that Does Laundry for You

I procrastinate doing laundry so much that once I finally decide to do my laundry, it takes a whole day to complete. I thought it was just me who did this, but apparently, since plenty of other people struggle with this, LG has come out with a smart "cabinet" that steams your clothing for you.

The product is called the LG Styler Black Tinted Mirror Glass Door. The Styler is essentially a wardrobe with a built in steamer. While it doesn't necessarily work as well as simply using a washing machine, it does "eliminate over 99.9% of the germs and bacteria found in clothing to keep one’s wardrobe hygienically clean.” Seriously, 99.9%, I’m good! The machine does this with moving hangers that shake out odor while hot air is pumped in to smooth out wrinkles.

The product is so new that it hasn't hit the market yet and a price is still being tested. LG estimates the price will be about $2,000.

Would I buy this? If the price is lowered, YES! I despise doing laundry and if there was a way I could do less, I’m a buyer.
