Tuesday - Too Small for HR - Sexual Harassment Training: It’s now the law in New York
IMAGE_REPLACE_KEY_137_0_fd31c8
Since 2018 New York State law requires all employers provide annual sexual harassment prevention training to all employees. Training must be completed during the third or fourth quarter of 2020. All employers are required to adopt and deliver written sexual harassment prevention policies.
Employers must comply with this law. If they don’t and lose a sexual harassment lawsuit, the court can award greater penalties. TAP Series’ Employee Sexual Harassment Training teaches how to recognize and report incidents of sexual harassment. Training minimizes the risk of lawsuits, improves employee productivity, and mitigates reputational harm.
