What Is A Proctor?

What is a proctor, and are they mandatory?

A proctor is someone who witnesses the exam being taken by a student.

The proctor is an approved, neutral person who ensures the integrity of the environment, security of the exam, and confirms the identity of the student taking the exam.

It is a legal requirement that a proctor is present for your ANSI Food Safety Manager exam.
